Does this Tweet ring a bell for you on some level?

~@BestAt and a RT from @Paxochka: “All the plastic surgery in the world can’t fix how ugly some people are on the inside.”

Boy, don’t I know a few people that are just freakin’ ugly on the inside…one is unfortunately just several feet away :{

But that’s my problem…here’s a few things that I found interesting for today’s date..

Your Fun Factoid for Today:
~In the early 1900s, many American cities created laws that required all women in bathing suits to wear stockings. – Provided by RandomHistory.com

More:
~On this day “in Strangeness” (coasttocoastam.com) in 1981, Disneyland recorded its’ first homicide–an 18 yr old was stabbed to death.
~In 1897, John Kellogg first served corn flakes to his patients at a mental hospital in Battle Creek, MI.
~And the first surface photos of Pluto were taken by Hubble Space Telescope in 1996
~Hey, it’s Willard Scott’s birthday.
~And born in The Bronx, NY in 1946, Peter W. Blankfield aka Peter Wolf from the J.Geils Band.
~1967, Working on their next album The Beatles recorded additional
overdubs for ‘Lovely Rita’, including harmony vocals, effects, and the
percussive sound of a piece of toilet paper being blown through a
haircomb.
~1981 No. 1 Billboard Pop Hit: “I Love a Rainy Night”, Eddie Rabbit. Before recording on his own, the singer writes songs for Elvis, Ronnie Milsap, Tom Jones, and Dr. Hook.
~1987 No. 1 Billboard Pop Hit: “Love is Here and Now You’re Gone”, The Supremes.

If it’s Monday, I’m waiting on the weekly podcast The Trending Show with Clayton and Natali Morris (they usually record it on Sundays and if it up by Mon).
Also going to listen to Kerri D playing the Top 25 Smooth Jazz countdown at www.smoothjazzexpressions.com at 11am Eastern.
And on Monday, Bruce Nazarian does his show ‘live’ , and if we miss it, we can listen to it tomorrow on TheDigitalGuy iTunes podcast, or via his website at www.thedigitalguy.net.
Loved seeing Rick Braun and Richard Elliot on Jimi King’s Live from London show yesterday (www.sky.fm). They were talking about their working together, their beginnings, etc. Very nice to see them sharing things, esp since it was my first time to see them sitting down and talking with Jimi.
All righty then…we’ll end with a great tune from Richard Elliot…
