Wow…been a long time since I’ve posted for all both of you.
A great big “THANK YA” (as HLN’s Robin Meade would say) to Bill S, who virtually rebuilt this archaic desktop from the turn of the century!
We’re now doing Elegant Grunge theme from the fine folks at wordpress. And will probably change the blog around some, but here’s what we’ve got for today (while we work out the kinks)…And HEY, thanks for swinging by today!

~1927   Harry Belafonte is born in Harlem, NY.  His 1956 album “Calypso” tops the Billboard  pop album chart for 31 weeks.  Only MJ’s “Thriller” and the soundtrack to “West Side Story” have held the position longer.

~1945  Roger Daltry born in London, England. Along with being lead vocalist for The Who, Daltry also starred in movies “Tommy”, “Lisztomania”, “McVicar” and “The Mania”.

~1994  Justin Bieber born in Stratford, Ontario. (1994?! WTH! I think I started getting mail from AARP in 1994! )
